Part A. For everyone
1. Business customers only
Our services are for businesses: restaurants, cafés, pubs, caterers, event companies, hotels and chefs working for themselves. By buying, you confirm you are acting for a business, not as a private consumer. If you are a consumer, please contact us before buying.
2. Prices and payment
Prices are in pounds sterling and shown on our website and at checkout. We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is added. Card payments are taken by Stripe; we never see or store your card number.
3. AI drafts, you sign off
Our tools and builds use artificial intelligence. AI can be wrong, out of date or incomplete. Everything it produces is a draft for you to check before you rely on it or share it.
- You stay responsible for allergen information, food safety and HACCP records, health and safety, employment and rota decisions, pricing, and meeting the law that applies to your business.
- Check before use — never give allergen or food safety information to a customer, inspector or member of staff without a person checking it against your own recipes, suppliers' specifications and records.
- Not professional advice — nothing we provide is legal, financial, tax, medical or food safety advice. Ask a qualified adviser where you need one.
4. Our liability
- Our total liability to you for anything arising from these terms is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
- We are not liable for loss of profit, revenue, business or data, or for any indirect loss.
- We are not liable for loss caused by relying on AI output that you did not check, or by services run by others (see section 5).
- Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to limit.
5. Services run by others
Chef's Intelligence runs inside Claude (by Anthropic) or ChatGPT (by OpenAI). You need your own account with them, on their terms and at your cost, and your conversations are handled under their privacy terms. Claude is a trademark of Anthropic and ChatGPT is a trademark of OpenAI; Axom AI is independent and not affiliated with either. We are not responsible for their outages, changes or decisions.
6. Your information
We handle personal information as set out in our privacy policy.
7. Changes, notices and the law
- We may update these terms. We will email existing customers at least 30 days before a change that affects them, including any price change.
- Notices to us go to fabian@axomaistudio.com; notices to you go to the email address you gave us.
- If any part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
- These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and its courts deal with any dispute.
Part B. Chef's Intelligence subscriptions
8. What you get
A subscription gives you a licence to use the AI skills in the zones you pay for, or all zones with the Full Suite, through a personal connector link. The licence covers one kitchen site per subscription. You may not share, resell or publish your connector link or the skills themselves. The skills remain ours; the documents you create with them are yours.
9. Billing and cancelling
- Subscriptions are paid in advance, monthly or yearly, and renew automatically until you cancel.
- Cancel any time online at axomai.ai/account. You keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not refund part periods.
- If a payment fails, we may pause your access until it is paid.
- If you change plan, you will get a new connector link to paste in.
10. Free trial
- The free trial gives you the Full Suite for 30 days. A card is needed to start it.
- Nothing is charged during the trial. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, it becomes a Full Suite subscription at £89 a month, charged on the day the trial ends and monthly after that.
- We aim to email you a reminder before the trial ends. Cancel at axomai.ai/account.
- One free trial per business.
11. Fair use and suspension
Please don't try to copy, scrape or reverse-engineer the skills, use them for anything unlawful, or overload the service. We may suspend or end access, with notice where we reasonably can, if these terms are broken. We will try to keep the service running but can't promise it will be uninterrupted.
Part C. Founding Kitchens
Founding Kitchens get the Full Suite free for three months, with no card needed, in return for using it in real service, a short feedback call each month and an honest review at the end, good or bad. Places are limited and we choose who takes part. Any review we publish will say the reviewer received free access. After three months you can subscribe at the normal price or stop; nothing is charged automatically.
Part D. Chef training
Each course is quoted individually and the quote sets out the content, dates and price. The certificate given at the end is an Axom AI certificate of completion, not an accredited qualification. If you need to move a confirmed date, tell us as early as you can and we will rearrange where possible; the quote says what happens on late cancellation.
Part E. Build & Market projects
12. Quote and scope
Every project starts with a written quote or brief that sets out what we will deliver, the fixed price and the timeline. Work outside it is a change and is quoted before we do it; small changes and support are charged at £60 an hour.
13. Payment
- Unless the quote says otherwise, 50% is due before work starts and 50% on handover.
- Discovery (£750) is paid up front. It comes off the build price if you go ahead within six months.
- Third-party costs, such as domains, hosting, paid plugins, advertising spend and software subscriptions, are paid by you, ideally in accounts in your own name.
14. Your part
You will give us the content, logins and decisions we need on time, and confirm you have the right to use any text, photos, logos and data you send us. Delays on your side may move the timeline.
15. Ownership
When you have paid in full, you own what we built for you: the code, designs and content made for your project. We never take a share of what it earns you. Open-source software and third-party tools inside it stay under their own licences. We may show the finished work in our portfolio unless you ask us not to.
16. Handover and fixes
We hand over the accounts, files and a short guide on making simple changes. If something we built doesn't work as agreed in the quote, tell us within 30 days of handover and we will fix it at no charge. After that, support is charged at £60 an hour.
17. Your customers' data
Where a project means we handle personal information about your customers or staff, you are the controller and we act as your processor under UK data protection law. We will only use it to deliver the project, keep it secure, use reputable sub-processors, help you answer requests from individuals, and delete or return it when the project ends.
18. Ending a project
Either of us can end a project with written notice. You pay for work done up to that point, and you own the paid-for work.
